I have finally found some spare time to blog. Life is always hectic at this time of year and I have had some more chaotic times than usual. On Tuesday this week, I had a day where everything went wrong. This climaxed with me getting my dress caught in my mobility scooter at the end of school and, in front of parents and students at the General Office, all my buttons popped off my dress, my dress ripped and I found myself showing far more underwear than I would have liked! Luckily for me the office staff had safety pins! At least this gives me an excuse to make some more clothes!
I have had meetings after school every night since school began (even Friday nights!) so my blogging has been non-existent. However, I told Michael I wanted to stay home this weekend, rather than go to the farm, so, after housework, I have found time to experiment with Lesson 3 of Hot Needles, Cool Stitches. This is the result. Hopefully, I'll have some more time tomorrow, in between making clothes and correcting VCE English tasks, to play further. I have some beautiful goodies from The Thread Studio to play with. I hope it rains, so I don't feel guilty about staying in! The garden is like a jungle after all the rain.
