It's been a busy week back at school after the holidays. For some bizarre reason, students came back on Friday. This gave me the day to 'wing it', then spend the weekend preparing for the week ahead. I have been sewing--clothes--and have begun Lesson 2 of Hot Needles, Cool Stitches. I am using Evalon Ultra as the base for printing a photo. I then painted it with Starburst Sprays and am now waiting for it to dry before I embellish it. No pictures today, but I'm sure nobody wants to see pictures of pants and tops!
Another bizarre event is the weather. Not only has Queensland had floods and a major cyclone, but Victoria has floods as well. Fortunately for us, no floods (yet) in Bairnsdale, but nice soft rain---the garden is flourishing (as are the weeds!) It's usually hot when the students come back to school, but next week is low 20s---perfect! Next post I'll have some more work to add.
